Leadership, Inclusion and Civility Starts With You

Most people believe they don’t have the power, position or knowledge to make a difference. However, we own 100% of how we show up, what we say, and how we treat others. So, what is the one thing you can start, stop or amplify daily to make a difference?

I hope all the participants who showed up to have brave and courageous conversations around race, diversity and inclusion in healthcare felt empowered in some way. We - at all levels - must do better for ourselves, our colleagues, and our patients. We all need to model inclusive and civil behavior and hold ourselves and others accountable.
