I started my professional career at Baptist Health Systems in Miami, Florida as an Institutional Review Board intern and then as administrative support to Human Resources. In 2000, I joined the biopharmaceutical company, Pfizer Inc., where I launched new medications and managed sales territories in Florida and Ohio.

Later, I worked at the Health Collaborative, an innovative nonprofit, in Cincinnati, Ohio. I developed employer programs for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Aligning Forces for Quality initiative. As Executive Director of Cincinnati MD Jobs, I pioneered one of the first nonprofit physician recruitment initiatives in the country and established a successful strategy to diversify hires for the tristate area.

In 2013, I was recruited to work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a global leader in pediatric healthcare and research. I led the expansion of the hospital’s only cross departmental Mentoring Program and developed the first ever Cultural Competency Champion Program in Patient Services to better serve our increasing international patient population.

In 2016, I resigned my position at Cincinnati Children's and took a leap of faith. I founded Moxie Consulting Group.  Many people and organizations want to improve leadership, team performance, and inclusion. They don’t know where to start, have received bad advice, or don’t know how to optimize or measure what they are doing. I combine theory, 20+ years of experience, and practical solutions to help leaders create high performing teams, develop leadership, and gain the benefits of engaged employees. I believe people are empowered by awareness, purpose, and connection.

Now, Richmond, Virginia is home where my husband and I raise our three kids and I attempt to garden. I serve as Secretary on the Board of Trustees for Riverside School in Bon Air, where teachers transform the lives of K-8th grade students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.
