How It Began

I didn’t plan Moxie. I grew into it.
Over two decades of healthcare experience across clinical research, pharmaceutical sales, nonprofit healthcare, and inside one of the country's top pediatric systems, the same gap kept appearing: organizations with strong teams who couldn't consistently execute in the moments that counted.

Not because people weren't capable. Because the gap between knowing and doing is where leadership either holds or breaks.

In 2016, I resigned my position at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and founded Moxie Consulting Group. Not because I had a business plan. Because I knew something I couldn't unknow.

The Name — Moxie

Everything meaningful starts with a decision and decisions take Moxie.

To us, Moxie means courage with competence. The ability to move forward thoughtfully in uncertainty, act with integrity, and choose progress over perfection.

Grace is its necessary partner — the capacity to stay human while doing difficult work.

We lead with Moxie. Move with Grace. Measure by Impact.
